Wade Edwards’ inspiring
story allows him to offer the perspective and wisdom that others cannot.
A man of service, he views himself as an instrument through which
Spirit moves to reawaken the potential in others. Wade has known since
his early teens that he was destined to serve a higher purpose.
As many of us have, Wade spent 20 years of his life dedicating himself
to someone else’s dreams. His broad professional background
includes the aerospace industry, pharmaceuticals, hazardous waste
management and general contracting. While these endeavors were lucrative,
they did not nurture his need to serve his community. A stroke of
Spirit turned Wade’s life around - he lost his business/job,
suffered serious health challenges and nearly became homeless - all
within three years.
Rather than falling under the weight of these challenges, Wade siezed
the opportunity to pursue his own dreams. He put aside his past and
dedicated himself to a new future. He enrolled in and graduated from
the Landmark Education Curriculum for Living, completing Forum in
Action, Relationships, Being Extaordinary, and Creativity seminars.
Wade is a member of the Academy Coaching Excellence, including Mastering
Life’s Energies, Being Coach, and Coaching and Results. He is
a leader and dedicated volunteer in several service orgainations including
the Sacrmento Men’s Wisdom Council, Capitol City Lodge, and
Kiwani’s Club. He is a teacher, a minister, and lifelong student
of many spiritual paths including New Thought, Universal Life, and
Unity teachings. A long-time member of Spiritual Life Center choir,
he is a well regarded soloist as well as director of various musical
offerings.
